To build a preview we use what your business publishes on Google: name, address, phone, opening hours, rating and reviews, and the Companies House register to tell companies from sole traders. We keep that, the preview, and a record of the card and any text we sent, for up to 12 months, then delete it. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in offering a service to businesses that have no website. Tell us once, by phone or the stop link in any text, and we stop and mark you as not to be contacted.
When you use the chat on your site we keep the conversation, the changes it produced, the photos you send and the domain you choose, so we can build and support your site. Payment is taken by Stripe; we see your name, the last digits of the card and the amount, never the card number. Stripe's own privacy notice applies to the payment.
Sites we build set no cookies and load nothing from third parties until a visitor presses "Show map". A booking form on a site opens the visitor's own email app; the details typed are also recorded for the business owner so they can see their requests. Each site has its own privacy page saying exactly what it collects.
This page sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Cloudflare, which serves it, keeps standard connection logs for security for a short time.
You can ask what we hold about you or your business, have it corrected or deleted, or object to our contacting you. Ring or write and we act within a month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
